no running sub on here and I realize this section is primarily for weightlifting/bodybuilding

but feel free to watch nike fail miserably at running a sub 2 hour marathon

The pace he was running at is just amazing. I watched a bit of it and it could be considered a semi-sprint for some people. Dude didn't even look THAT exhausted at the end. Crazy.

Damn didn't get sub 2 hours.

We've been talking about it a little in one of my classes.

Anyone know what shoes they were allowed to wear? I know recent long distance runners have been using Nike shoes that have been debated as being illegal.

It's on Nike's site. They show all the equipment that was used by the runners

In the library and on my phone so it's hard to look, by it looks like they used the shoes.

Those shoes might be banned from official events so do you think this time should count?
