I wish to lose at least 10lbs in the next few months and I don't think i'll be able to do too much exercise (cycling) so i'm mostly going to be relying on dieting.

What are some good low calorie foods that fill you up nicely that can be used for making most daily meals?

Chicken, chicken and more chicken. Easy to meal prep and good macros. Hot sauce and whole grain or white rice depending on how strict you are. Ton of veggies cuz low calories. Yogurt and certain protein bars make up easy breakfast if your schedule doesn't allow for eggs

just don't eat processed foods.
snack on veggies.

in a week or two of eating clean, and not seeing any progress.
eat less

rinse and repeat.

Is rice/veggies/chicken generally the best way to go for dieting food?

MOVE YOUR LAZY ASS

I'll be busy with work and won't be able to exercise too much so maybe some cycling once a week on average, I also have no desire to gain any muscles so there's that.

snack on veggies.

I plan on snacking on stuff such as baby carrots and some various fruits outside of meals.

any home-cooked meal will be low-calorie in comparison to their processed/frozen/restaurant versions, so if you get pre-packaged foods or eat out a lot, you'll benefit from that.

stuffed peppers are good.

stirfry is great, leave the noodles out for a really low-calorie version.

lean fish like cod, much less calories than say salmon or tuna. s+p, thyme, lemon juice and you're good to go on that.

extra firm tofu pan fried in sesame oil with a little salt, filling and low calorie

just cause you're trying to be in a deficit doesn't mean you have to effectively slaughter the most simple pleasure in life with this rice and chicken breast shit. it gets old fast. there are tons of really delicious low calorie recipes out there that someone of any skill level can cook up.

But, protein?

read the cod part again

tofu isn't too bad either

i heard nearly all stuffed pepper recipes have some form of animal protein in it.
legend says the same for stir fry. why don't you read? are you okay?
