It'll work, but if you don't have some specific deadline, why not just go with a regular moderate caloric restriction?
Eh I just like trying different shit. I stopped lifting 3 years ago, so not like I have gains to lose, but iv heard lost minimal doing it.
Been on Keto for 3 months now, probably gonna do this, then go back to normal diet, since im around a normal weight these days
