When I finished my bulk, I had no stretch marks. I didn't lose a lot of weight right after my bulk. Then I started to develop some stretch marks (bottom of stomach, lots around chest, biceps). Wasn't bulking or cutting when the stretch marks started to form. Looked bad, now not so bad. Other than putting on oil, how the hell do you deal with late-onset stretch marks? If stretch marks came on slowly that would've been easy to compensate for, but they sort of just appeared suddenly.

I want to aim for 2lbs per week weight loss. That's about 1000 deficit per day. I'll taper that back to 1lb per week later.

So I have my base caloric intake needs without exercise. I need a 1000 calorie deficit. Should I be eating about 500 under my base caloric needs (calculated before exercise factored in), and tack on about 500 calories worth of exercise daily?

I'm at 227lbs right now. My target is 180lbs at end of cut. Any lighter probably not sustainable. Given that's 47lbs as a goal, is it realistic to go at 2lbs/week for 24 weeks? I definitely won't have the willpower to keep that up perfectly.

5'10"

227 is a fair bit heavy for me. No gut thankfully but got love handle action going on a bit. Waist size up a fair bit. Not a good look.

Rob Riches is 5'10" and weighs in at 180lbs. That's closer to contest level weight. But tack on 10-15lbs of fat to that, and you have 190-195. I'm not as big as him. I'd rather aim for 47 and taper back that goal later, than aim for say 37lbs loss and find out I want to push further.

I'm aiming a little bit more for a sustainable way of lifting and doing cardio, and eating. I put on a ton of muscle, and a ton of fat, from my bulk phase. Way too much bicep and shoulder gains, way too little leg and ab gains. I want to cut down and then take a more rounded approach.

Yes that's all clear. But for purposes of comparing 5'10" to musculature & weight, he serves as a decent comparison point to illustrate that 180lbs 5'10" might be a healthy target (he's at like 6-7% bodyfat and on roids, I'd be aiming for 9-14% bodyfat and not on roids). Realistically I'll never be his size (from previous years or at his current peak whatever that is), so again, serves as a good reminder of weight goals.

Protip: Cut until you're happy with how you look, dont worry necessarily about the weight on the scale. Keeping a log of your weight is good to make sure you're heading in the right direction though of course

This to a certain degree. Also, use the mentality that you're doing a cut to be healthy.

Fun fact. I'm 5'10" at 158 and I would be lower if it weren't for this whole bulking thing that I've got going on haha.

You can stick @ 2lbs all the way through. Altho eating like that for that long would be brutal imo i dont find its hard at all while keto

I was up to 300lbs, jumped on keto, started at around 3-4 a week, now around 2.
