This but there are a lot of commercial brands with the same level of quality which cost more.

Rogue tows the line between home use and commercial quality, kind of like the higher end York stuff but more functional. Rogue gets away with this b/c of all the CrossFitters setting up garage gyms, plus the calisthenics guys seems to like Rogue, too (so meni meni chin bars).

I think Rogue has it all: good looks, good structure, reasonable price. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

my friend has some Rogue barbells (a deadlift one and a squat one)

never heard him complain and they seem pretty good
