ok i am pretty new to lifting around 5-6 months now.. i have figured out everything pretty much on my own to this point but any opinions on this wouldnt hurt

i am currently using the 4 day split routine

day 1= chest
day 2=legs
day 3=triceps and shoulders
day4=back and biceps
day5= rest

day 6 = it all starts over chest etc

my question is when should i do abs/core or when do u all do abs/core....

should i do them on my rest day? i am thinking no then i would never have a true rest day

any help is appreciated

Do them on legs day, after ur legs. I'm assuming you squat, you do not want to have a fatigued core while squatting (eg. Doing core the day before squats)
