I have a question for all the people here trying to lose weight and lifting at the same time

i lost around 10 pounds in 3 months and gained alot in strenght and a bit in muscle

what i wanna know is at some point will my body adapt to my training and start shredding more weight

i wanna go from 250 to 200 but since i'm lifting i gain muscle wich basicly means i stay the same weight

anyone have any tips i wanna get bigger but i wanna lose weight still and it seems really hard

my diet is not an issue here i consume less calories wich is what you need to do and i'm never starving

Chillin in the sauna met a guy with a good amount of experience under his belt.

He said to simply just focus on one goal at a time and let your others act as a byproduct until you are satisfied.

Abuses his body for months, if not years. Wants to see fast results that come easy.

I've never understood how people have this mentality.

if you're working out steadily and in a daily caloric deficit you will not gain nearly as much muscle mass as you're losing in fat.

maybe if you're on roids.

gaining 10lbs of pure muscle mass in 3 months is not realistic. re-examine your diet, and your caloric maintenance at your current weight, this may be obvious to you but it'll be less at 200 than it was at 250.

i'd suggest doing a little bit of research on fundamental physiology, and the basic functions of diet and exercise. i say basic cause diet and nutrition and physiology can be so extremely complicated and overwhelming, a lot of it i feel is useless to somebody who just wants to be healthy and fit, but a basic and well-rounded understanding will definitely enable you to be more efficient in reaching your goals.

Man just go lift heavy weights 2 times a week and then go hike 8 hours a day.

Do this for a month and you can just start dieting and bulking or whatever you want

Your whole body will be used to carrying all that weight. So you'll bulk and thin out super fast.

Sometimes i look at fat people and i can vision muscles underneath all that fat.

Just look at it this way. You're wearing weights all over your body. Just be happy that you have extra weights on you.

Now work out and get serious lol.

I go on 4-8 hour hikes and no matter how much i eat...i'm always losing weight. It's just one of the best ways to hike. especially in the winter. It's summer now so hiking sucks
