talked to somebody in the gym, they said the best way to get ur squat up is to do light weight, high volume up to 20 reps and 4 sets, what's your guys opinions on this?

More mass = more power = more weight.

6-7 sets 20 reps per muscle.

more reps than 8 and you're not training for strength you're training to withstand fatigue
stay in 6-8 rep range
3-4 sets

I do high reps twice a week for mass.. Other than that, I do 5x3 at 90-95% my max and I still haven't plateaued on squats.. Currently squatting 335.

when i could do a widowmaker with one plate, i was like man i'm gonna get strong
when i did a widowmaker with 2 plates i was like fuck yeah doing 5x5 was awesome
