Are there better places to get this kind of thing?
I've never bought large equipment before.

I find people who buy treadmills don't use them as often as they think they would. It becomes like a piece of furniture.

Get a gym membership. You go to the gym for the reason to use the treadmill.

I agree with bjones. I had a treadmill and I wasn't motivated enough to use it like I would at the gym. With a gym membership I have friends there who help motivate me if I need it also there is alot of other equipment and classes if you decide to go away from cardio.

Unless you live wayyy up north somewhere and she plans on using it during the winter.....don't get one.

If she's fat and wants to start out at home to slowly lose weight then........get one. (rent one)

Otherwise...i think just jogging around outside would be best. little hills and going down hill technically helps you burn a TINY bit more calories cause you're using more muscles with all those changes.

So instead of a 700$+ treadmill just talk her into getting 700$+ of running gear and go on runs outdoor.

That way you can run with her too. Get her a water bag, and a nice long pocket knife so she can knife people if they try to fuck with her.

Maybe some bear spray that acts like pepper spray. With bear spray you can get them easier.

Get her all sorts of running clothing. That shit will be a bit costly.

I have a Nordic Trac my parents bought and stopped using. I use it a lot whenever it's cold and I don't want to go outside

Cardio at the gym is just lame when you can run outside but I've gotta admit staring at a wall is pretty lame too for half an hour

So I put mine infront of a window looking out to a tree. I have now named all the squirrels and birds

I just bought a Gold's Gym Trainer 720 treadmill.

Not that impressed with it, but it was on sale for under 500.

Those Weslo's I hear are alright for the price (250ish)
