Background. I've been lifting about 6 years, never had this problem till recently. It's not after lifting just whenever. Sometimes laying in bed sometimes driving. I get a pain between my pecs/sternum and i have no idea why. Anyone?

What type of pain? Is it burning, pressure, throbbing, stabbing?

How long does it last?

Any other symptoms? Do you sweat? Heart rate jumps?

It's kind of a dull pressure

No other symptoms

Happens to me too. When laying on arm. Feels like my chest is pinching in. I'll have to flatten out my sternum. Literally feels like it's gonna explode lol but not overwhelmingly painful but still pretty unbearable at times

Get in randomly. Just a little inflammation I'd say. It's never too consistent

Isolated chest pain is tough to pin down. It's likely just costochondritis but go to your doctor and they will check your symptoms and signs and confirm. Ain't no thang to fuck with

as cloudkicker has mentioned, it sounds like costochondritis to me.

I had xrays for it a few years ago and they couldn't find any abnormalities. It's not really something you can cure, it just comes and goes. I haven't had it for over a year.
