Just checked, it's 25m long. I can make time to watch it tomorrow/another day and share some thoughts. But, could you just summarize it briefly for those not inclined to spend 25m watching it?
Based on your numbers it seems to me that what you were doing before was working, although I don't know your size, XP, etc.. In general if something makes sense, it's worth trying if you're hungry to learn and test yourself with something new. Worst case is that you run through it, reach a point where you see it's not working for you, and you back off and try something else (although I think it's good to test something 100% until it's done and then decide) :)
Also why the fook were you sprinting down a mountain trail in Banff? Unless there's an angry bear or mountain lion chasing you, up is the preferred direction for a sprint.
It was actually Glacier National Park (just most people done know where that is compared to Banff), we were camping. The hike was late in the day and the only close water refill station was inside and soon to close. I didn't have much left and didn't feel like boiling any that night.
To summarize:
Day 1 Deadlift . Day 2 Bench, Day 3 Squat and Day 4 OHP.
Each Day consists of three sets of movements . The main giant set (main movement in it) the second giant set (direct accessory movement) and a third giant set (smaller accessory movements)
Example Day 1 deadlift
Main Gian set
1A - Explosive hinge movement - (Something to open the hips (kettle bell swing, box jumps)
1B - Deadlift
1C Ab Variation
1D 90 Second rest - Repeat
Second Giant Set
1A Explosive hinge
1B SLDL
1C AB Variation
1D 90 second rest - Repeat
Third Giant Set
1A Reverse Hypers
1B Glute Ham Raises
1C BB Row
10 minutes of conditioning after every workout.
Weeks 1-4 4x8 , Liner progression each week
Weeks 5-8 5x5 Liner progression each week
Weeks 9-12 10x3 Liner progression each week.
The only reason this caught my eye is due to how the structure is different from anything I have ever done and like I said change can be interesting.
Myself I am about 205 pounds, 6'1 progressing to 220 (hopefully). January marks 3 years of lifting.
