I've always understood it's better form to keep your elbows tight to your body, it flexes your back and helps you keep your chest up..
But today, I was working with a guy who keeps his grip so wide he's almost touching the weights.. But his form looked great..
Is it just preference?
closer grip pushes your back and traps together, making it tighter
bigger guys dont have the shoulder flexibility to do that, and have to go as far as they are comfortable
