Hello people. Some questions here. If I was to hold dumbbells while doing lunges.... would this be useful? This used to be an exercise that I did quite often when I worked out because it was simple and got me tired pretty quickly... I'd hold like 100-125 dumbbells in ea hand and do several sets of lunges until my legs felt worked...

But! I feel like something like this is a bit more fun than doing squats or deadlifts, which honestly require a lot more form... What do you guys think, is this a good leg exercise?

I was being ironic u numbskull. It takes more neurons and motor pattern learning to perform a good lunge than it does to be a mongoloid troglodyte and bend down and pick up a barbell

heavy lunges are one of the exercises that would be at the top of a list comprised of exercises requiring the most muscle recruitment
