I am considering giving up gaming completely. I have maintained my weight lifting, and I completely changed my entire career path this year. I have been doing self-studying (distance education) for a graduate program, which has taken a lot of discipline. I am lining up work in my related field now.

Gaming melts hours off of a day like nothing else. I find gaming isn't something that is relaxing like any alternative, such as a movie. You watch a movie, and it ends, and that's it. Whereas with gaming, an hour goes by, and if I stop, I'm more anxious to go do productive things.

Soooo... probs going to just straight quit gaming.

Gaming is a hobby/entertainment and a luxury. If it makes you anxious, find another hobby lol. If you only play games for an hour a day, I hardly see the problem.

Zero since school started. A lot when not during semester lol. In my limited free time I watch Netflix/Amazon shows. I agree with you about gaming being a time sink which is why I don't game during school.

0 hours. Quit gaming back in 2011 when I was 18. When I was a kid I thought I'd be gaming forever, but now I find it really sad when I hear people above the age of 30 who still play games

Grew out of it, joined the navy, started college. Don't have time to play games anymore. Training is my new hobby yo.

I bought Uncharted 4 and Batman: Arkham Knight both at launch... Haven't opened Arkham and Uncharted 4 I only played for about 5 hours which is less than half the campaign.

This.

Lifting weights as a hobby is no greater than playing games as a hobby. They're hobbies.

lmao shut your egotistical lying ass up. Nobody here cares if you think playing games is "sad". Plenty of people out there WILDLY more successful than you will ever be or could ever comprehend being who play games daily. You're a pathological liar who posts here far too much to pretend to be as successful as you pretend to be.
