If I'm doing a PPL split, and my triceps lack, I typicallly do 10 sets for tris on each push day, 5 sets / 2 exercises.

It's usually rope/skull crushes or straight bar pushdowns/overhead extension.

My question is if they lack should I do More exercises like close grip bench, and dips? Heavier weight and less reps? I do 5x of 8-10 for every tricep movement.

you're 18, everything is lacking.
give it time, only do tricep movements that allow you to fully contract both eccentric and concentric.

do 3 exercises, instead of 2 if you feel like you're able to.

How many sets per push day?

/e maybe 3 sets per exercise instead of 5 ? And do 3 movements rather than 2.

"Last topic for a while" being 3 topics back now, I want to help you in a broader way by suggesting that, as in anything where you want to find success, you are your own best guide.

Lifting is a great place to learn that lesson. Just lift. Stop worrying about the minutia that will optimize the experience. There is no single golden road to gains, aesthetics, programming, technique, and so on. This is why you see so much variety in the way people succeed in lifting -- and in life. This is also why you see corporations taking up so much of our space -- they are just adding bullshit and confusion to the process so that you will look outside yourself for answers, and therefore open your wallet to get them.

If you do feel you need help, consider organizing your thoughts. You could easily have made one topic instead of several to get your answers. Consider purchasing or borrowing a textbook on whatever domain of fitness you're most interested in. Devour it and then spread your wings.

Here is how to find success in lifting (below). Literally, you follow this simple format and you will get everything you need. This is not the formula I use for fitness or life because my ideas are difficult to fully explain in one post and if I do fully explain my ideas I'll probably just publish and sell them elsewhere.

1. What is your purpose? What do you want, how will it help you or those you know?
2. What can I do right now to work toward my purpose? What short-term goals can I create?
3. Take action on these goals.
4. Learn from your mistakes.
5. Learn from others.
6. Fail and try again until you succeed.

Step 5 does not mean coming here and asking questions, but it could include it. It means that you did your own thinking, tried your own stuff, and have higher level questions or the desire to do everything better. You now understand the terms of your undertaking and you come to it with a critical understanding of what needs to be done next. You are at stage 0, because I don't think you have a purpose in what you are doing. If you did, then you would already have the passion and focus you will need.

Don't take offense to this because it is an offer to help you in a much bigger way than you've been able to see is possible so far :)

Listen to what Rew said, that's the best advice you'll ever get your entire life. He took a ton of time to write that, and it's quality 110% advice. No one on this forum knows if you need more tricep volume, or what exercises you need. Everything he said you need to reread and take to heart.
