Beyond warm-up, have any of you experimented with lighter weight for hypertrophy? I'm talking about weight you can do at least 25 reps of, for clarity's sake.

I've never grown for shit lifting heavy or moderate weights (with diet in check) so am going to try something out of the ordinary.

That's not out of the ordinary. It's quite common to work in a 10-20 rep range with a tempo to induce greater sacroplasmic hypertrophy.

Are you on a caloric deficit?
Do you take any kind of supplements?
How is your daily protein intake?

I personally never do above 15 repetitions in one set, unless it's a warmup or stretching exercise.

Do the warm up to get some blood in the muscle, do the sets to destroy the muscle, adjust recovery time accordingly.

Doing something out of the ordinary might be something your body reacts positively to, so go for it. Got to find out what works best for yourself by trying.

Are you on a caloric deficit? I've just started eating at a surplus again since I'm trying this program. Been eating maintenance since I haven't been training regularly for a while.
Do you take any kind of supplements? nope
How is your daily protein intake? it'll be right at 1g/lb of bw

Gonna take some progress pics and see how I look in a year.

May even start a tracking thread or notebook to have it all down on paper.

I refuse to believe that a rep range up to 12 reps doesn't work for you.

Otherwise, just don't go to the gym. Jerk it. Lots of reps.

Try pushing harder, lots of forced negatives, higher number of sets. I don't do more reps in a set, I just do a lot more sets.

I do quite a few of my exercises 15-20 rep range with a 4-0-2-0 tempo, usually isolation stuff (lay flyes, tricep Ext, bw dips, hammy curls/leg curls, minor back/bicep stuff etc) only use about 2 exercises per day in the 8-12 rep range
