Ok folks, I am looking into buying an additional power rack. I would like some recommendations. My basic requirements are:

- must be possible to deliver to Canada from Canadian distributor (to avoid duty charges) -- many US companies allow this option
- footprint shouldn't exceed 8x8
- should be professional/commercial grade, or at least able to take stress from repeated heavy lifting
- bench press + squat + chin bar
- reasonable price

Rack/unicorns for weights on apparatus desirable.

I'll look at them just because that's an insane price point. I'm familiar with the brand but I haven't looked at their stuff from the purchasing point-of-view yet.

I was originally trying to avoid them because I'm not into Cross-fit but I have been mirin' some of their stuff. They do have Canadian distribution and I have already checked some of their stuff out from the purchasing point-of-view.

Rogue: Quality and precise work. Will last a long time!

Gorilla: Cheaper but less choice. Quality is good. There is a storage option but you'll have to contact them (I've seen it live)

Rogue has been leading in my mind for a while. They even adjust your price as you build more stuff into your custom purchase. I'm fairly sure I'll go with the Froning rack due to its sex appeal.

I have Gorilla on my mind, too. The real problem has to do with choice. And Rogue seems really decent even if it is a slave to Crossfit. Gorilla has gone that way as well.

Rew, what city are you in?

Also, if rogue my vote would be the half rack with conversion kit/weight pipes and spotter arms

Having a fully enclosed cage in my basement - Taking the bar in and out of the cage is actually super annoying at home when doing deadlifts or shoulder press or anything.

A half rack would eliminate the annoyance.

Obviously a 70 or 90" rack would likely be mandatory. The 108 isn't going to fit in most houses

I did notice the rack conversion kit and it's my other leading choice, but I already have a half rack for squat + bp which is why I'm fine with a closed rack. Any serious clients/lifters will appreciate it. 108 would be fine in my place, just because we're renovating a garage. Ceiling is not low :)

The conversion kit would save some money, though. That's why it's still in the conversation. I need to check its options. So many freaking options with Rogue.

In Australia at least, Rogue have a huuuge markup. They are by far the sexiest but by far the most expensive

Id consider checking out elitefts https://www.elitefts.com/shop/strength-equipment/power-racks.html

Not sure how the shipping is to Canada (from USA)

I'm pretty sure rogue has a canadian warehouse in southern ontario so shipping is free in ontario for some things

That's why I asked Rew what city he lives in because I know of a few good stores in a couple places across the country that would be worth at least walking in to if he was in or near one of those locations.
