In all honesty? I've heard somewhere it actually makes your pecs less appealing. Not saying it's true is it important to incorporate

what are does decline bench hit?

think about muscles worked?

think about what hypertrophy does? think about if u want to grow the muscle in that area

do u want a well rounded muscle? do u want to hit the muscle using different angles and variation?

id say yes

If anything it would help fill out the pecs but tbh there are tons of ways to get balance in the pecs.

It's not necessary and I would treat it as an accessory, with the main being the bench most times. It really depends on your goals, whether they are strength goals or aesthetic goals, etc..

It's a beneficial exercise and I respect it but I personally don't give much a poop about it. Some guys swear by it.

e: if Serge Nubret did decline often, then do it if you want amazing pecs. If he didn't then don't. (lol)

Imo heavy weighted dips >

Targets the same muscles, with better results.. especially if you go heavy enough where you are forced to incorporate more chest to complete a rep. The ROM seems superior, and you can cheat your form a bit more or even go to failure without needing a spotter.

Hate the look of rounded pecs, I want those flat zyzz pecs, but cbf to do anything but flat bench for chest, even flat bench I hate. Sometimes I'll do dips just for tricep strangth

I like how my chest stretches more on the flat or incline bench....

Lower range of motion and I want the bar to go lower which isnt possible since its already touching my chest.
