Why have I had a sore throat for the past 2 weeks at about 5-6pm and onwards???
I do have allergies to grass and ragweed, but it's October so I'm not sure what could be causing my sore throat. For the first week I did not take anything and now I'm taking some antihistamines, but it's not really helping (or very slightly).

I'm also allergic to pets, dust and mold, but these usually don't effect me during colder months.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help me? It can be annoying when it gets late on in the day...

I have, they say it's most likely allergies... I mean you'd think the antihistamines would work if it's allergies. Like I said they do help but only slightly.

Back in my university days I lived in a cheaper apartment, now I used to fill my waterbottle every hour or so from the bathroom tap upstairs becsuse it was near my room.

Me any my buddies stayed at that spot for 4 years though all of university. In my last year my throat was getting killed and it wasn't till my girlfriend at the time said don't you think the water from the tap upstairs tastes bad. I never noticed till we looked at the pipes.
... Was drinking mold for quite some time I'd say.

Filled water bottle up from a Brita we bought and just jugs of water cleared issue.

The cheap days of student living.

Not a pretty story, but the spot was in rough shape as we all wanted to avoid any debt.
