Yeah not sure if you can compare beef to whey.

Unless you are referring to powders?

Protein from most meat sources, lean cuts, is great.

Whey protein powder is the best powder form of protein. Treat whey powder as a food supplement. Some days it's 75% my protein intake. On average whey protein is 50% my source of protein in a day.

whey 100% of the time. it is superior in every facet of comparison.

while both beef and whey are complete proteins, protein by volume is much higher in whey, which makes even the most expensive whey cheap in comparison. while both have good biologic value, whey comes out on top here as well.

very high amounts of antibiotics and hormones in beef. high saturated fats even in lean cuts of beef.

some might find whey's lack of carcinogenic properties appealing, too. or not, who knows.

I'm gonna go against the grain here but last I checked in to it, protein powder isn't regulated like food is by the FDA in the states so there can be (key is can, which doesn't necessarily mean there are) all kinds of nasty shit in the powder as filler and the worst part is it doesn't have to be listed in the ingredients.

Plus, if you actually look up some of the ingredients that are listed, some of them are not good for the human body.

Now of course this may have changed since I last looked in to it or perhaps the information I read was bad info (It was a while ago and I don't remember the source sorry), but it may be worth looking in to for yourself

Whey as a powder is very convenient though, that's a for sure.
