Looking for people who know what they're doing in olympic lifting or people who are extremely knowledgeable in biomechanics (sup cloudkicker).

I know a little bit about these lifts, but not enough to be able to do them with 100% proper form and then be able to coach people to go through the lifts with proper form.

An internship I am going to be applying for in the winter is going to require me to send videos of me doing each olympic lift and obviously the better the form, the better of a chance I have of getting the spot.

I just ordered my textbooks to study for the CSCS and one of them is an exercise technique manual for resistance training, so I will be able to read about them and how they're performed, but I would love if someone here would be interested in typing out on how they progress through each step in the lift and how the lift is supposed to go based on biomechanics.

I'm throwing away all of my knowledge on how to perform them and completely starting from scratch. Willing to throw away my pride to make sure I have these down as perfect as they can accomplished. God bless fam.

Isn't he more into the cellular/nutritional aspect of lifting?

Is his form pretty solid? Also is his insta public? If so, link please.

Oh sweet, he's a physics teacher. Don't really want to watch a dude in a singlet doing lifts while I'm in the library, but I'll definitely check his videos out later. Thanks man.

Mind going through a step by step checklist of what you do in your head in one or all of the olympic lifts you do?

I'd be extremely grateful.

You mean like cues or so?
Some basic stuff I can think of from the top of my head.
Grip - adapt the width, if I have not done OL for a while I might have to use a different width due to mobility. Make sure you find a grip for both the snatch and clean that will suit your proportions. If to wide/narrow the bar will probably miss the spot where you are most efficient.
Stance - adapt the width. Kinda same as grip, if you stand too narrow you will probably fall forward in the catch and if you are too wide you will snap shit. Most of the time the catch is a bit wider than your squat position. Also practice on keeping feet even, if one leg moves forward/backwards balance failure/injuries might occur.
Bar should pretty much be under your shoulders throughout the majority of the pull.
DO NOT rush the pull, I often see beginners who perform the first section of the pull really fast which makes them either miss the hip/thigh completely or thrust the bar outwards due to bad timing. It's not a speedpull.
Backsquat=helps snatch
Frontsquat=helps clean
Chins behind the neck is great for mobility/stability for the overhead position, mainly for snatch but also the jerk.

Overhead position (for snatch and the jerk)
External/internal rotation of the shoulders in the catch, both are used by lifters on elite level. You will most likely find out fast which suits you the best but it won't hurt experimenting on light weights.

Jerk
A stance that is a bit wider than your frontsquat stance is often to prefer to eliminate balance shifting forward in the dip. Also keep elbows down and not up (will improve the drive), flex your lats when you do this to lock elbows and stabilize.
Start to learn powerjerks before splitjerks. It put less strain on your core and it is not as technical demanding as the splitjerk. Pushpress is also great.
Grip is usually a bit wider for the jerk than the clean aswell, but it all comes down to flexibility and preferences.

LMK if there are anything specific you wanna know or if you have vids for formchecking or whatever.
