Few things I learned:
You cant decide where ur going to lose fat
Abs popping = less body fat
U can eat good, but what matters is calorie in must be less than calorie out

Incoming abuse.

If you really want to learn and improve, take all the knowledge you have right now and completely throw it out. Based on how you asked your question, you're very misinformed in how the body works.

You can't target certain areas for fat loss. "Eat good/bad" literally means nothing and isn't helpful in assessing how you actually eat. Does that mean the types of food you eat, the amount of calories you eat, or your micronutrient intake?

If all you care about is abs, then focus about 90% on diet and 10% on actual ab exercises.

Your primary two core exercises: Squats, deadlifts
Your other exercises to work abs: Crunches, hanging leg or knee raises, and other ab stuff (there's too much to list)

How to reveal your abs: Calories in vs. calories out. Lift, get your cardio in, and eat less calories.

Thanks :) i honestly don't have that much knowledge on diet and how the body works. I enjoy working out and staying fit. So I guess I'll look more into that. I am completely happy with how my body looks. Just wanting to improve my core. I'll look into a diet plan more.

Hanging knee raises (where you bring shoulders to knees, and knees to shoulders) get the most out of your abs in a workout movement. Many gyms have machines you can sit in to do this movement, too; these are superior because you can add resistance, although you can also learn to hold a weight with your legs and use a chin-up bar.

Abs are basically about diet as everyone said (+/- calories). In a deficit, so long as you're doing resistance training, you're losing body fat and adding muscle. Squats work your abs for strength.

@ 5'6" 160 lbs @ 17% bf you don't have a LOT of work to do to really improve your abs. @ 17% bf, depending on your body type and your hormones, you may/may not see your abs as a muscle group, without any separation, striation, or clear cut. But once you hit the 12-15% level, you should be somewhat cut, and by 8-10% you will see some separation. If you aim to cut your body fat in half you can get it done just in time to fatten up for the holidays :santa:
