Should be studying for my neuro test, but got this email from examine.com and couldn't resist reading through it.

The multi-billion dollar fish oil industry is a behemoth, and there are many hundreds of studies analyzing fish oil uses and mechanisms.
Lost in all those studies is an important question: do the main fatty acids in fish oil (EPA and DHA) have different effects on inflammation and other cardiovascular disease markers? This meta-analysis looked at all the existing data.

Curious on others thoughts on fish oils in general, but also the difference between EPA and DHA.

Obviously with my ulcerative colitis and all of the inflammation I get, studies dealing with inflammation always grab my attention.

Full text if you want to read through it all.
