I'm aiming to start my cut in January. I'm aiming to cut between 35 and 40 pounds, to reach between 9% and 12% bf (not that I'm actually doing any proper measurements to know %).

At 2lbs per week, that could be about 20 weeks. Five months.

Anyone ever cut for five fucking months straight? Is there a better way? I've only ever done one successful cut, and it wasn't even on purpose (because I was a dumb ass), and in two months I dropped somewhere between 15 and 20 pounds.

minimum muscle loss if you do it properly and work hard enough.
you'll always lose muscle, not hard to keep it at a minimum if you're not retarded.

I think he was referring to the 6 month cut. Could be wrong though.

Wouldn't mind if you went into more detail with the caloric deficit and HIIT though.

both pretty straight forward no?
ive shredded pounds doing 30 minutes of HIIT on the stepper fasted cardio.
and eating in a calorie deficit. Mostly water and carb depletion as of now.

you can literally see the changes of water in your body in 3-4 days, or at least I did.
and im drinking 5-6 liters a day.

if also put on mass in areas during this cut.
especially my chest/back
