YO guys, so its about time I work on dat der explosive power/strength. I'm a pro male cheerleader (Europe's third best team <3 ) and have ambitions of one day representing my country in this sport.

Now as much as I'd love to be a Team Norway athlete, bodybuilding comes first and I'd rather be an IFBB Pro and national champion in Men's Physique, so I can't really make radical changes.

I'm gonna be ballsy and try to do both sports at the same time. if I succeed I'll be the first in the country to do so. Maybe first in Europe or perhaps even the world !! :O (any IFBB pros that are on Team USA cheerleading? doubt it...)

Nuff said about that... It is because of my ambitions in MP that I don't want to completely restructure my training program, but maybe implement a few changes, or maybe add in a week of explosive training every 6-8 weeks.

I train 10-13 workouts per week:
7 times, once every day in the gym : P//P/L with no rest days ~ 90 mins each
3 * two hour mandatory cheer sessions
Any where from 1-4 stunt sessions, depending on my ability to find a top girl I can lift in my spare time. Can be for up to 5-6 hours a day, but a lot of that time is chilling and playing around. so I'd say about 2 hours.

What can do my friends? I've incorporated clean & jerk / snatches in my shoulder workouts (had them before, then removed, now I'm implementing them again) and I decided to have switch between leg day A and leg day B. A being explosive and B being hypertrophy. I figure since legs don't count in MP anyway, why not...

On my leg day A I do explosive/jumping squats and box jumps set to a really high height and do 5 sets of 3 reps, with plenty of rest :3

Focus on hang variations for the cleans & snatches.
Clean/snatch pulls.
Lots of different jumps.
Pray for your knees.

Bro my knees became weak as PHUCK over summer. I was squatting 150kg 5x5, 160kg 3x5 or doing pyramids with weights like 140kgx10 to 170kgx3.....

nowadays my knees hurt so much even doing normal movements. like if I squat down IRL to do something like tie my shoe laces they my knees get soar.

I only squat with 120kg these days... 3x5
