yesterday I was running and a bug flew directly into my eye. it hurt pretty bad. I had no water and was about a mile from home so I just kept running. it was better by the time I got home.

I looked in the mirror and saw it was still in there under my bottom lid. I managed to get it out

my eye was fine the rest of the night but when I woke up I noticed my eye was very subtly watery and it seems to be producing a tiny bit of those crusty things you get when you sleep sometimes. it generally feels a tiny bit uncomfortable.

everything seems very mild. just a tiny bit of wateriness, little bit red in the corner, little bit of burn/discomfort (like how it feels when you get shampoo in your eye 5 minutes after it happens), etc

should I wait and see how It does or go to doc immediately? my vision isn't impaired at all, not seeing double, etc.

Probably just irritated...

You know you have a problem when your eye is red and you get a ton of discharge.

I had an eye infection last summer and when I woke up my eyelids were almost sewn shut because of that sticky discharge. Was producing a ton of it. Had to get antibiotic eye drops to fix it.

sticky discharge hihi

Your eyes cleanse themselves fast, so when your "tiny / little bits" turn bigger, consult a doctor. Otherwise, your eye will survive this nasty bug :)

you'll be aight. I had staph infection in my eyeball about a year ago, I didn't know this was even possible. You get steroid eyedrops that clear it up asap, but tbh you're fine. Get some bausch and lomb or whatever eyedrops from the store and power through it dude
