I began lifting at 24 hour fitness about 2 months ago. I do a 3 day split repeated twice a week, with my rest day on sunday. I feel like almost everything im increasing well on weight besides bench. I have had some people help my form, but just cant seem to get over 125 (yes very low weight). I feel almost ashamed whem i bench because of it. I'm not really sure why it is that i've only increased 10 pounds on bench in 2 months.
I am 5'8 and 275lbs
Here is my routine
Chest and shoulders
Bench Press: 5 X 5
Overhead dumbell press: 3 X 8-12
Incline dumbell press: 3 X 8-12
Skull crushers: 3 X 8-12
Lat raises: 3 X 8-12
Tricep pulldowns: 3 X 8-12
Shrugs: 3 X 8-12
Back and biceps
Deadlift: 2 X 5
Dumbell rows: 3 X 8-12
Lat pulldowns: 3 X 8-12
Face pulls: 3 X 8-12
Hammer curls 3 X 8-12
Curls: 3 X 8-12
Cable rows or T bar rows: 3 X 8-12
Lat pull machine: 3 X 8-12
Legs
Squats: 3 X 5
Leg press: 3 X 8-12
Leg curls: 3 X 8-12
Leg extensions: 3 X 8-12
Calve raises: 3 X 8-12
