can't find an article online about an anti-inflammatory food without another article saying it causes inflammation..

seems pretty accepted that fruits n veg help with inflammation but what else?

Grains, Nuts, meat, dairy? What about olive oil?

Have a pinched nerve in my back that's basically ruining my life. Chiropractor says an anti-inflammatory diet might help.

what should I focus on? Thinking low protein, high fruit/veg. Not sure what else.

Thanks

chiro is psuedoscience and why would antiinflammatories make your pinched nerve not hurt? you need to treat it with physical therapy or surgery.

chiro is a waste of time and money. get a massage if you want something to feel better. inflammation can irritate tissues but wont cause compression.. unless you have massive swelling in a nerve tunnel but i doubt it. where is the pinched nerve?

the way it was explained was that the inflammation of tissue compresses my nerve.. if the tissue wasn't inflamed, there'd be no or less pinching.. I guess. Idk.

already spent like $180 and went 10 times. Insurance doesn't cover any more so price is going to be like 5x + more.

basically if i'm not lying in bed, it bothers me anywhere from general discomfort to the necessitation of painkillers and lying down with an ice pack

not sure if it's common but my lower back almost never hurts and even when it does hurt it's like 1/10th the pain of my neck/middle back. but that is the part that's degenerating? i'm so fucked.

I agree that chiro is a joke, but the logic and plausibility of what the chiro is saying is sound (tissue inflammation causing nerve compression) whether he has the eduction/technology to actually confirm this is why the nerve is compressed is a different story
