FIVE HUNDRED KILOGRAMS

That's 1102lbs. No suit. No that's not a tire lift. No, not a rack lift.

a 500kg DEADLIFT.

DO PEOPLE EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW MIND BLOWING THAT IS?!??!?!!?

Previous world record was held by Eddie Hall himself, just a few months ago, at 465kg. Before that 463kg. That's a leap of 35kg in a matter of months, when his previous increase was only 2kg... (roughly same period of time)

Second-strongest deadlifter ever is Benni Magnusson, at 461kg...

Eddie Hall deadlifted 39kg more.

Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, aka The Mountain, aka Europe's Strongest man, did a 440kg deadlift. 60kg less than Eddie Hall's 500kg.

While this is absolutely insane, his buddies are helping him out of a suit and he's using straps.

what's he weighing?

seems weird that he gets like 90% of the lift immediately and then struggles with a few inches for a bit. maybe that's normal

That's one of the craziest feat of strength I have since

By the way he used a deadlift suit.

Well, conventional suit / 10

Not helping that much.

Still a awesome lift.

He blew his MCA trying to do that lol, stroking out at the end

I would actually be interested in blood pressure values for his vertebral and carotid arteries during a lift like that. He's like a ticking time bomb for an aneurysm or dissection
