Don't feel it during my workout too much but I think I certainly do. It doesn't restrict me whatsoever. Day after squats, near the top of my left knee patella it's a bit sore, maybe slightly underneath as well, I'm not too sure as it's not very significant.

I was just wondering if this is something I should worry about at all or just dismiss it as slight inflammation or something insignificant that wouldn't be an issue ever?

Stretch it out well and maybe take a break for awhile until the pain goes away. You don't want to keep injuring it. It sounds like you've stressed the joint out. Using the picture below can you locate the pain specifically?

This picture hurts my soul.

I just took a test on this a week ago LOL

Honestly one or two days off isn't going to kill your gains, but continuing on something that could be a problem could be disastrous.

Well it is so insignificant that tbh I don't really feel it now. I have to really be squatted down to feel it but even then it's minimal.

And yeah one or two days off aka push pull day nahimsayn

I'm no expert but I'd guess you strained your medial patellar retinaculum. If you do any calf raises does it hurt or only after squats? Leg extensions should aggravate the region too. See if you can recreate the pain during an exercise or if it's only afterwards. If after like you mentioned in the original post, I recommend postworkout static stretching. My guess is that it's tightening up too much and when you walk it causes discomfort.

When you squat and bend the knee sounds like a tight tendon. Try extending the leg and massaging the region. Using essential oils will help alleviate any aggravation.

Certain oils and extracts penetrate deep into skin and relax the body. Some smell great and open the lungs and sinuses as well. Eucalyptus and Tea Tree oil are some of my favorites. I also uses extracts and oils to make natural bug repellant.
