Look up ketosis/keto diet. It's safe, and can be very effective. The diet is low carb and composed of more fat to make you satiated and less hungry.

Being a normal person and having a low carb diet is beyond moronic.

Unless you're competing or need to watch your carbs for health problems, there is no reason to be limiting carbs.

There are multiple medical studies that show that cutting back on carbs is more effective than cutting back on fats for losing weight.

The degree you do it is obviously dependent upon your goals. Many people eat ridiculous amounts of carbs daily, which makes losing weight tough. Even just cutting back a bit will help.

If you are going all out, try to stay under 30-50 grams per day. This is not sustainable long term for most people, as it severely limits your diet.

If you're just trying to lose a bit of weight, try to get an idea of how many carbs you eat on average per day, and cut it down by 1/4 or 1/2.

TLDR: Yes it's safe, just adjust the amount based upon your goals.

except everybodys body is different and have different Metabolic rates and how we store and the ammount we burn off. so specific numbers isnt best for everyone honestly fasting has gotten me longterm goals or just calorie limitation anything under 60grams a day of carbs is pushing it longterm and not realistic

Can find a few studies there if you really care, but your mind is already made up, so really doesn't matter whether you look or not.

I won't be posting again to argue something that doesnt affect me at all.

To the OP, I hope you find what you're looking for. What works for one person may not necessarily work for abother, but I can tell you that the best shape Ive ever been in came during a time where I lost 20 lb on a low carb diet.

I see no point in cutting carbs just to lose weight. As long as you're in a calorie deficit you'll lose weight. I would only go on a low carb diet if I was diabetic or had some other health reason to.
