lifted something off a shelf to put it into a shopping cart the other day without realizing how heavy it was

got lowerback pain now whether i'm sitting, standing or walking

any idea on things i can do to speed up the recovery?

Yeah go to the hospital and see if you herniated a disc

Nothing to speed up recovery. To prevent injury, stop lifting things in bad positions

also, if you wanna know if u herniated a disc (its not 100% accurate) but u could try to block the air (block ur breathing) and push (like when ur taking a shit)
If the pain increase while doing that, i'd tell u to go see a doctor

held breath and pushed, pain didn't increase - should be in the clear i think
