Just bought a pair of 20kg hex dumbells (already got 5 7.5 10 15) so I can increase some excersises like hammer curls/flys/traps that you can't effectively do with a regular straight or curl bar.

Curious how much do you all pay per kg (or lb) for weights where you live?

rubber hex dumbells today cost me $4 per/kg
regular/olympic steel plates cost around $2.75 per/kg

Gets quite expensive althiough once you buy them I won't need to buy any more for a while

Make friends/work in

E/ would honestly hate working out in a home gym.

Saw prices

Knew you were Australian

Protip for home set: Gumtree. Never buy new

That way you can buy it for half price, and still sell it for the same amount in 5 months when u realise you havent used it the past 4 weeks and quit
