I'm curious as to who consumes whey powder for their gains.

I personally consumed whey powder on my first year of workout to hit that 125g+ of prots. Haven't seen as much gains as I would have thought overconsuming prots like that so I abandonned it.
It's been a year I haven't used them, out of laziness/belief and I'm averaging maybe 80g prots on workout days (I weight 160lbs).

There's still some doubt in my mind as to whether I should or shouldn't.

Discuss :)

Cheap and easy to consume everywhere. No reason I wouldn't.

It's a supplement , so use it like one. If you can't manage to hit your macros with real food or don't have access to it / on the go then use it , absolutely.

meant to supplement your diet to hit or increase protein intake.

Easy, convenient, and tastes fine. Would rather get 35g of protein with a protein shake than eating another half serving of chicken.
