I think it's been discussed in another thread.

Crossfit as a concept is fine. It's when it's done with complete disregard for safety that it's full RE.

but it works fine because most crossfitters don't use enough weight for serious consequences, their 10 pounds weights look like 45s

Never played sports and had a lifting day. One or two coaches in the weight room with a large group of lifters.

it all depends on the coaches and how they can manage a group. as well as the ratio per coach. at my gym we make sure there is a 1:7 coach:athlete ratio. and when we snatch or clean and jerk we partition the lifters so eyes are always on them.

form breaks down when being timed and shit can get dangerous. but crossfit is alright in my book if you know what your doing.

Yup, it's when you get a bunch of people (a lot of females in my area) who have no knowledge or prior lifting experience that go in to it and think it's the greatest thing ever, the ultimate workout because a few in shape people do it. Cross fit was huge, now more kick boxing type gyms are popping up and everyone praises it as the gospel. I saw a chick post that she burned 300 calories in an hour long kick boxing session. People that partake in these exercises often accompany them with some retarded Paleolithic/fad diet 😂
