im having a medical apointement tomorrow and i need to be 2.5pound lighter than yesturday.

i barely ate anything yesturday and this morning (its 12:40 here atm)


is it possible to temporarily lose 2-3pounds over 24ish hours? im asking here cause maybe some of you did boxing or cultirism and similar stuff before where you have to cutt weight drastically and temporarily.

i know 24hours is really a short amount of time but its only 2-3pounds i've read somewhere that boxers lose 20pounds or more in 5 days for the weighting so i assume it should be possible by either over hydrating or dehydrating my body? (not so sure here but im sure it has to do with hydratation somehow)

im not trying to actually lose the weight forever that way nor am i a obese guy looking for a lazy way to lose 50pounds, i just need to lose 2-3pounds in the next 24hours for a medical examination (in short if i don't lose it it will cost me $$$$)

they weighted me yesturday at 212.5pounds and i gotta be at 210 or lower basicly (im 6')

thats what i was thinking ^^ its like 5ish degrees centigrade here maybe i could go run with my winter coat a while ^^

i read somewhere that in a longer term 'temp weight lost' its the oposite that you actually want to drink alot of water and dont eat salty stuff (to lose the water your body retains)

but that surely dont apply to a 24hours thing :)

also maybe some sort of laxative? could maybe help flush a bit of weight of my body or bad idea?

fun fact is that im probably going to do that too... AFTER the running and sweating (dont want to have stomac cramps and shit while im running)

There are probably some athletes in here who dealth with the same situation like yourself i.e. wrestlers before a weigh in.

Also, do you have a garden hose available to you in the next couple of hours? :)
