When do you throw it out?

I have about 8-9 pounds of ON whey from maybe 2-3 years ago. Nothing looks wrong with it, but the age is concerning me.

What would HnF do?

I wouldn't drink

I bought 10lbs of already expired protein powder, I also have a really weak stomach, no problems so far only 2lbs left to go

if its expired you will just chit it out. wont be absorbed in ur stomach

How long does it usually have for an expiration date? I bought a ten pound bag and dumped it into two, five pound tubs.

Yeah I stopped using it because I came out of remission with my colitis. I don't want it to be the reason it happens again.

At the same time I don't want to throw away about $70, unless it is the better choice.

$70 or restarting chrons outbreak...

check expiration date... i have a few containers of protein i bought a very long time ago still fine until September 2016

a few months after expiration should be okay but not after that

Yeah kind of why I made a thread asking haha. I threw out the bag it came in when I first opened it and had no idea how long the shelf life was.
