Is giving blood affecting ur gains? And no it's not a troll question, I'm dead srs.

Hasn't ever affected me and I go every 3 months (Mandatory wait time in Ontario)

For cardio it will butlifting no.

Takes about 6 months for RBC to fully mature

Well they take max 450ml and you body has at least 4.5 litres of blood, so at most they are taking 10% of your body's blood. Plasma is replaced within a few days iirc, red blood cells more like 4 weeks. So in a 4 week time period from the point of giving blood you could have slightly reduced cardiovascular capabilities, but I wouldn't have thought it'd have much of an effect in terms of building strength or size.

not that i've noticed, i get blood workup every 6 months. they usually take 2 big vials and 1 small vial**

however if it happens to fall on a day where i'll be doing bicep curls i'll try and go as early as possible cause i work out at night. just because.

weren't aware that draining blood (which btw is vital to the body) has no negative effects no the body. srs?

it very well could make you woozy or weak
but it's still safe to lift if you feel fine. will have a negligible effect on your gainz
