I'm currently off my weekly 300mg test c + b12 injections and quit taking a heavy dose of painkillers I was prescribed to. Needless to say, I feel like shit as my body is detoxing and I'm lethargic as fuck with no desire to do anything. It doesn't help I was let go from my place of employment on Tuesday, either. Now I have no energy and just sit at home, lol! Still forcing myself to lift, but the intensity is horrible and I last all of 20 minutes, 2 exercises. If you've never dealt with opiate withdrawals, you might not understand where I'm coming from.

Anyways, looking for some possible remedies you guys employ to stay focused through out the day. I've thought about buying some Adderall to take for like a week? (I HATE stimulants) I've tried drinking preworkout in the morning, coffee, red bulls, take b12/b6 vitamins plus all my normal vitamins.

Any ideas? Anyone else ever have to deal with or go through opiate withdrawals? Crazy how medicine can make you feel so bad when cessation is implemented!

A good clean positive attitude. You don't need drugs m8.

More beneficial calories like fruit and veggies, real food you know?

And a hobby. A non health related hobby. Unlike some people on this forum. It's all they focus on...

I wouldn't use any stimulant at the moment, it will only exacerbate withdrawal symptoms. That's assuming you were actually on a decent dose for a bit, enough to actually desensitize opioid receptors on the locus coeruleus. Basically, many withdrawal symptoms are mediated via hyperactivation of the locus coeruleus (and thus release of norepi) upon cessation of drug. Stimulants will cause activation of this region of the pons.

Thanks for the replies guys! I don't want to take more drugs, obviously. I actually saw my doctor last week and told him about the lethargy and no sleep. He didn't want to prescribe anything else for the time being while my body is adjusting.

I've been wanting to get my hands on some ephedrine for a while, though it's illegal in the USA I'm pretty sure. Isn't that like the precursor for meth, lol? Might not be the best idea.

I reached out to my pops today and told him I was struggling this week, he gave me a 10mg ritalin pill he's prescribed to but does not take. It gave me enough energy to replace my radiator and change the oil in my car despite feeling like complete crap.

Have you guys heard the saying that kinda goes like, "when everything can go wrong, it will!" Or "what can go wrong, will go wrong," or something similar. Seems like it's just one thing after another. Radiator went out in my car while all of this was going on. So I've legit been stuck in my house all week!

Again, thanks for the replies and apologies on the long winded post. I'm not one to burden people with my problems, like most men, we just handle them, but it's nice to get it out on the table in some format. So thanks!

ephedrine is hard on the heart and ritalin will stimulate for a short while but not meant for that, ive taken stimulants for adhd not the greatest thing. if you need to talk you might not like me but ive got a good heart and ear so lmk if not goodluck on your quest to getting back on track!

stay strong
