suh dudes!
basically just moved and schedule changed, so I haven't been able to go to the gym as much as id like
wanted to get a full cage for the basement, but the ceilings are very low

found this powertec half rack with bench and bis attachment, set of weights (45, 10, 5, and 2.5 two of each) on craigslist
negotiated down to $500, i pick it up and its a 2 hour drive for me
will still need a bar and more weight

figure it will be good enough to do some strongman routine until i can get back in the gym

500 dollars is like 5-10 years of a gym membership

I guess what I'm asking is- is this a good deal or a rip off? are there similarly priced alternatives ? I still have my gym membership. this is just for convenience at home.

i think 500 might be a lil steep sense its used and doesnt come with a bar and much weight.. but if your going to use it then thats not so bad.

my gym is actually free.

military benefits and what not.

anywho

before the military even at places like golds gym you could get a membership for 80-100 a year if u use promotions.
