what're your guys' thoughts on that?

at college I try to hit the gym everyday whether its lifting/cardio/abs or just cardio/abs

I feel like if i don't hit the gym one day i loose gains...

Today I'm taking off and I'm trying to go 5 days a week max now. but its a mixture of liking to lift and the gym atmosphere/ and not wanting to lose gains

just wanna hear some of your thoughts haha

gains are well known to escape your body after 16 hours without training

Your muscles break during the work out, your muscles grow when you rest. 3-4 days a week is enough unless you want to be a professional.

confirmed

but fo realz. u need to rest. CNS needs rest. u grow when ur not lifting. but u lift to promote growth.

first understand why muscles grow? what does lifting weights do to your muscles? then how do they grow in response?

then u have knowledge

You probably are not training hard enough or you're taking steroids... regardless you need to train harder.

Theoretically you should not be able to get out of bed the day after training that particular section or body.
