i saw the shape stallone was in in the expendables despite his age and that motivated me to go to the gym because i want to be in that kind of shape when i'm in my 60s

women see ads featuring fit girls as desirable and get angry calling it fat shaming?

There is a lot of pressure on women to look a certain way and not all of them can do it, so they banded together for support.

i say that pressure is important and must be preserved

though i've never really understood why they take the unhealthy route to get there through starving themselves or throwing up what they eat instead of just getting a gym membership which'd give them more freedom to eat w/e

the average american woman weights 166lbs according to the latest stats which is alarming

Because people are lazy, it's really that simple.

As someone who was pretty damn fat as a kid, I always hated how I looked in the mirror so when I turned 16 I joined the gym and did something about it.

It amazes me that grown adults can look at themselves in the mirror and see a body of mush and not strive to change.

On the other hand what you see in magazines, shops and commercials, when it comes to models, is unreal for most of the teenage girls to look like so they hate their body and the circle begins

ye but look at this fellow who hated his body and look what he did

starving yourself sounds much more painful and miserable than going to the gym, don't know why that women resort to that before the gym

People don't want to put in the work. They don't want to research how to eat well, they don't want to spend the time. I was spinning my wheels for almost a good 2 years and I still didn't give up. Finally making respectable progress, but it takes a long time and people aren't willing to take action.

yeah i get it and have to admit it's true, but the pressure is ridiculous anyway.
