Why not? There is no set weight someone should use a belt. The weight is relative to your body.

Im not sure i just assumed id would only need 1 if im goin for a 1-2rm and i dont do that.. last time i tried to get my 1rm on deads i fucked up my back.. i stick to what i can get 8-12 reps of.

Fix your form then

A belt can be used for more than just 1-2 RM

The theory that using a belt weakens your core and affects the activation of your Abdominals / obliques during squats or deadlifts is pure BS

yeah ive worked on my form a lot sense then so im good now.. it still scares me though.. back injury's are the worst.

if you go under 5-6 reps squatting, you deserve whatever happens to you with or without a belt.
