I`m feeling really sad and shakey right now... first time gambling, and over the course of the night, I lost $250... was gambling with some buddies

what do? anyone have any stories to make me feel better?

In all honesty I have played online poker lost about $2k lifetime won about $2k. Too stressful for me and I have zero interest in casinos. Don't want to get a serious gambling addiction going on.

its a very very bad habbit. u are pretty much for sure gonna loose.

do it for the thrill or possibly winning with a very very slim chance. but before u go out, keep in mind your limit u want to spend, if u go over this limit, there may be an issue.

consider urself lucky. 250 is chump change
just get out asap or it will be a disease

It's just $250, I've worked in a casino and seen people lose their homes over gambling, and all the other degens.

You'll get over it in a few days, I know the exact feeling though.

A few days ago I lost $200, forgot about it 1 min after leaving the casino. When you're gambling, you should be in the state of mind that you might lose this money, this is the purpose of 'gambling'. Plus, it's just money. If you're healthy and have good people surrouding you, that's what counts.

When i was new to gambling i had an insane luckstreak and went from 200$ to 2600$

I could not stop at all and lost the 2600$ + 700$ i took from my bankaccount.

Now i finally win money by playing poker

If you dont take gambling serious ( poker ) and just play lucky games in a casino, you should set a limit which you take and go to the casino. ALWAYS count that money as lost even inbefore you enter the casino to have fun
