I do believe I already know the answer but...

On chest day I do flat bench with dumbbells at a 45 degree angle because my shoulders are fucked due to barbell bench.

I do 3-4 sets of 8.

I'm currently warming up with 90's, go up to 105, then complete with 115 for a complete set of 8. I am more then ready for the 120's but my gym only has ONE damn 120 dumbbell... my question is..

Do I go to ten reps with the 115, then eventually move up to the 140's... or do I wait a millennium for them to buy another 120?

I can't do the flat bench because every single time I have to take time off from the gym due to my rotor cuff..

No spam please.. seeking reasonable answers..

Idk my bmi but..

Currently weigh

210

17 inch arms

5' 10''

Not shredded but can see abs.. I've been in the gym for 4 years now and just now getting to that big boy weight lol

I use wrist wraps with dumbbells above 100.

Thanks in advance! For a quicker response please pm!

Shoulders shouldn't be "fucked" from barbell bench unless you are doing it completely wrong lol.

You should ask them if they plan on buying another 120 anytime soon, regardless i think you should increase the reps on the 115s. Or idk if you gym has them but mine has these circular 2.5 LB magnets to stick to the cable machines, they have 4 for a total of 10 LBS, if they have those just throw 1 on each end of the DBs.

I was thinking the same thing, we have a lot of guys my size and bigger lifting the heavy ass weights, and the dumbbells are so bent that they snap whenever we slam them on the mat. I'll increase the reps until they manage to get a new 120. This is like an old school gym lol I haven't seen the magnet things but that's a great idea!

You could always try 140s and slowly increase reps.

Strong db bench tho. Not many people can do 100+ B)

idk if it would work or not, but maybe put some elastic bands on the dumbbells?

why give advice to some guy that tells us the size of his arms for absolutely no reason

stick with the lower weight, probably have shitty form and will break your shoulders if you go heavier
