I only have side videos. However I'm positive my knees don't cave on squat or deadlift (I'm actively pushing them out).

Squat video: https://vimeo.com/147969786
Deadlift video: https://vimeo.com/147970039

Squat is high bar, DL is conventional.

On the squats I definitely found it harder to do the valsalva (that how you spell it?) on the last few reps. It's like I couldn't take in any air. The weight feels crazy heavy on my traps.

With deadlift my concern really is my lower back. Only really learned about pulling shoulders down and back recently...initially I felt like I was doing stiff leg squats cause I wasn't getting hips back enough and chest up.

I'm doing blaha's 5x5. Few weeks in now. I feel like I'm going to plateau on squats soon (weight is getting so heavy). Probably cause I'm not eating enough.

Thx

You have limited leg drive on your deadlift. Your Form would break down poorly with heavy weight. You are pulling way too slowly as well. If that isn't heavy for you, you should be doing videos with heavier weight to really see form. Get your breathing under control as well. If that was a heavy as fuck lift you might pass out.

Squats look okay. Maybe your stance is too narrow , but can't tell from side angle and maybe keep your head up.

It's not heavy deadlift weight, however I haven't been doing conventional, I was doing sumo. However I wanted to try conventional. I started light to try and get the form right. I'd rather not risk going heavy if my form is shit. Might as well get it right with light weight first.

I've almost passed out on squats before...need to figure this out...

Re squats: my stance is I think shoulder width...maybe slightly closer.

Also, I have found squatting with head up easier (eg looking straight ahead), however I thought literature said to look 45 degrees down. Eg neutral spine.

example of how I deadlift.
lots of leg drive, explosiveness and not holding his breath for a long time like you are

as far as the head position on squats, ask someone else.

on your deadlifts, you need to utilize your legs more as previously mentioned.

Could be because I'm trying to keep elbows in line with body as opposed to behind me and I guess my elbows naturally go back...Alan thrall video said that was proper form.
