I'm a scrub lifter, I just started working out seriously for the first time like 2 weeks ago
Anyways I'm trying to get plump veiny pecs and arms, so yesterday I was doing chest + triceps + shoulders
Push-ups, triceps extensions, lateral raises
I did my push ups first, I have normally been doing 3 sets of 10 reps with a 2 minute rest but yesterday I did 3 sets of 15 reps cuz I thought I could handle it
I completed 2 sets but failed on like #9 of set 3 and was like ok w/e
Anyway I moved on to my tricep extensions but my triceps were so tired that I couldn't lift the weight over my head
I skipped them and moved onto the lateral raises

My question is, in terms of gaining muscle, is it worth it to use all my endurance on more push ups? Or are my triceps suffering too much of a loss from skipping tricep extensions? Maybe next time I should just stick to 10 reps instead of 15?
Like I said I'm a scrub

Bench squat deadlift

Focus the rest of your lifts around these

Best accessories imo:

Db row
Ohp
Straight leg deadlift

Hit them squats .
Personally I feel it's better to go low weight then ...until max weight then back down as a cool off. But if you do controlled slow reps with mild weight you should make gains no problem . "To get big, eat big" . Eat your carbs and proteins .

Because I don't have a gym membership and also because I don't really know what I'm doing so I'll probably look like a puny scrawn to everyone else so I wanna gain some weight at home first so I can start off on an acceptable weight if I ever do get a membership

If you actually care about changing your body and being healthy you wont care what other people think of you.

If I see a "puny scrawn" really trying his hardest to get to that next level I got nothing but respect and admiration.

Reminds me of myself when I first started; 110lbs 6ft tall kid jerking weights with 0 knowledge.
