you are injured for a couple months and want so much to go back to the gym but you got told to don't do any freeweights exercices, only machines (no bench press, deadlift, squats, any barbell at all) so, after all this, you still want to go but at the same time you feel like you wouldn't be doing a good workout like before the injury what do you think about it does it worth it to go back to the gym or should I wait until I can do freeweights?

What can freeweughts do that machines can't?

Brb machines make the move smoother, more controlled, added safety catches, allows you work till failure, can concentrate on the actual muscle you are working on and not 12,000 stabilizer muscles (how tired do ur quads get in squats lmao?)

Well i had a muscle in my forearm that was always under High stress\tension which was Never able to recover after each workout (didnt knew it until i went to the doctor) and i was not in the mesure to do some exercices such as any form of barbell curls, a lot of forearm exercices, plate twist twist, reverse grip deadlift and more. I want to hit back the gym but i have a little doubt about if me forearms will tolerate it even with machines only.

tbh ive always been a retard and worked through pain lol or do stuff im able to do...if hurt upper body do lower body or work upper where it doesnt hurt and vice versa. but if its moderate pain ill usually work through it even tho its dumb. but if i can offer advice id say dont work out haha
