So today I did chest/arms and I was wondering if there is such a thing as 'too many reps'

I looked up GVT and today I felt real good so I did 20x10 bench @ 135 and 10x10 135 incline press

Should I up the weight and if 10x10 bench is too 'easy' and 20x10 is too much?

Wouldnt mind some pointers on routines, mostly looking to do High reps since I am trying to lose weight.

Thanks ahead of time guys

pretty much

your best bet to lose weight is to do a strength routine to keep your numbers up, doing a hypertrophy routine will make u gain nothing/lose mass if on a serious cal deficit

e/ its not always true, but thats a fuckton of volume for pretty much nothing

So since I am doing a good sized cal deficit I should do like 5x5 or something of that nature at higher weights?

When I do get down in weight and perhaps next year bulk if I have to, that GVT or whatever you want to call it would be good with a balanced higher cal diet?

I feel much more the next day from the high volume than the higher weight for lower reps.

thanks for the help

Can't gain muscle mass on a cut except in rare circumstances, can gain strength however.

Point of lifting on a cut is to keep muscle, keepstrength, and joint strength stuff like that

So gear your lifting program more towards something like that
