hows my deadlift form? I could never keep my back from rounding at the start...im really trying to sit back and arch and keep shins vertical as possible. did this today my whole lower body is shot from yesterday doing legs but I wanted to get a vid

don't know what else I can do, any suggestions? been struggling a really long time trying to get conventional form down and don't really wanna progress in weight till I have it perfect (I'm a perfectionist with form)

my sumo form is good, but I really feel like I'm leaving a lot out if I don't do conventional. i'd prefer using sumo as an accessory type lift.

^ i like most of it

Apart from how you yank it off the ground, makes me weep snap city.

You have hear the 'clank' noise of barbell hitting the plates as you first pull each lifts. I prefer to pull that slack out first to yanking it

Edit: can hear it on 1st and 3rd rep

how can I pull the slack out? I try to tighten up and make sure the bars tight giving it a bit of a pull before I rip it up

jerky movement

gradually add force for example, when lifting 135 lbs, you should be pulling the bar with 135 lbs immediately before you lift it (instead of 0 lbs pull to 150 immediately to lift it off)

basically no yanking off the ground, esp if using over/under grip, thats how you snap your biceps

i explain like shiet, hopefully some1 else can clarify if this doesnt make sense

looks solid, back arch is good, as for pulling slack you should feel it at the point where you can complete the entire movement by exerting just a little more, easiest way to achieve this is to squeeze the bar and your glutes before you start your motion

That click noise the bar makes when it engages the bar can be made before you pull jt off the ground, that gets rid of the slack

Basically if the bar is loaded with 315lbs, you want to pull 314lbs of that into your body before you initiate the (pull/legdrive) someone correct me on that.
